Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.

I have a six week old guinea hen that started limping & now she's not walking well. I've separated her from the other four (very healthy) guinea hens. It's as if she is walking on her "elbows". Her leg color has become a greyish color. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you in advance!
