My Plymouth rock, who is about 8 months old, has developed a bad limp in both legs. Spends most time sitting with feet in front of her. Cannot get into nesting box. Seems fine in every other way...eating well, laying well, clean, healthy looking, involved with house mates, etc. Was told this is possibly Marek's disease but all the descriptions don't seem to jive. She seems to be getting a bit better in that she is getting around a little more. Anyone heard of this? Also, are her eggs safe to eat? Thanks.

Hmm... I am not sure. As long as you haven't treated her for anything, her eggs should be safe to eat. How are the other birds? Diet? Treats? History of the flock?
