There isn’t any difference. The only thing that may be different is the strength of doxycycline in 1 capsule. But the drug is the exact same.

That's great news, thanks to the both of you. I will order both but I think I'll get the 500mg instead. As always ..... you guys are great. .

Thank you @CayugaJana that what I was thinking. I know you told me the over the counter fish flax (cephalexin) is almost the same product as the chloramphenicol that the vet gave me...so I didn’t know if that was the same case with the doxycycline. Thank you for clearing that up!! You’re the best!!

When you soaked her foot did you feel any hard spots or was it all soft tissue swelling

Lou lou has a couple of spots, one does and feels like fluid but one other I was able to get some puss out. I've got the DMSO I think is what you called it, like a gel, I've soaked her foot and wrapped it with that, trying to get her swelling down. That stuff is what you use for swelling, Right?

Dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) is an anti inflammatory. You can use it as well if needed.

I will get some tonight.... I think the spot I got yesterday, i hope is the last spot with puss in it.
