Limping pekin

Well the hen with the big BF issue, it will come back. My vet wanted three months with no male contact. That's not including the two months she has already been away from him. Not saying that's how long you have separate yours. Just just trying to give an example. As for the hen with the bad neck, I would say a month. That neck has to really heal or it's not going to better.

Maybe do a night time separation. That will give the gals a break and can sleep in peace

Soaks in warm Epsom salt water may help with swelling . Can we get a better pic of bottom of the foot? Maybe this is an injury. No drinking Epsom salt water it also works as a laxative.

Rest well my Lil fellow, I was separating the males and the females for a while and alternating when I let them out, after a couple of days I couldn't get the drakes back in their pin. Something got him . I feel so bad now. I cried like a baby. Now I have one Drake "Pekin"

I hope to atleast have one egg to hatch that he had fertilized, then he will live on. . I just hope I can do it . Do you think one of my pekins will hatch an egg that he fertilized? With him being a khaki

You have a broody Pekin? Once a duck goes broody they will sit on any eggs in their nest. Doesn’t even matter what color they come out those are her ducklings and she is their mommy.

No. I don't have a broody hen, I took the eggs I found and now incubating them . I hope that one that hatches had been fertilized by him my khaki that died

I have 6 eggs that are, so far doing great . I've got lil peanuts moving around I love watching them.
