I'm about to move my goose over to my boyfriends house where I just moved in, and he has well water. I'll be buying her filtered drinking water but I'm wondering about the water for her pool. Its hard water and has iron flakes in it, so I guess my question would be is too much iron a big problem for geese?

Interesting question. My lot just drink the water from the stream and springs that they bathe in.
As for the iron, you could always ask the local cattle farmers about that...I doubt if flowing water would be a problem, but the local cattle farmers need to know, and will always be able to tell you about minerals in the ground, deficiencies, etc., and probably be able to tell you if there´s any problem there.
