Liquid Bandaid? on feet

Kids played too rough with my 5 day old EE is my best guess and his 'toenail' had a nic that was bleeding. So I put liquid bandaid on it and shes fine for a few hours now. Is there a better idea?

Does it have benzocaine in it? If so, never put that on a bird. It can be fatal.

Not sure of benzocaine as I tossed the bottle before I forgot and used it on one the childrens wounds this summer. But the little chick is fine. Now that bleeding is stopped it looks the nail is gone. I hope it grows back?
