Liquid in the air cell

The egg with fluid is still alive. I put a tiny hole in it but no fluid would come out. The amount of fluid in there has decreased. The egg I had that was Pipped, hatched during the night and I have one more that should hatch any time. Lost all the other eggs that were under the hen. She scattered the nest and refused to sit on them and when I candled them they were cold and some had fluid. None were alive. So, we are still at wait and see.

If you haven't discarded them already you might try warming the cold eggs back up, candling again and looking for movement.

I am going to see if I can candle it here in just a bit and see if it is still alive or what. I thought it was weird too.

Well, scratch that idea, I have another egg externally Pipped so I will not be opening the incubator lol...this is an egg I was sure want gonna hatch lol

Well atleast you got a few chicks! Enjoy them! ☺

I will update when I know how the "liquid" egg is doing lol the one egg that Pipped yesterday has hatched, have another internally Pipped and 2 rocking. These are the longest hatching chicken eggs I have ever heard of. At least they are finally hatching. 7 so far have hatched.

The egg we thought was twins didnt make it so I opened it up. It was a single chick and two yolks.
