Dr. Leighton used to be an avian vet. Technically, he doesn't see birds anymore, but he is a big softee and truly loves animals and is concerned for his clients animals. If you have a real emergency and you call and ask the receptionist to go and ask Dr. Leighton, he will usually cave.

I heartily recommend Dr. Wade.. I take all of my birds to her and she is excellent with them. She helped me with a pullet with a broken beak once. The clinic is expensive, as most exotic vets are, but she always works with us to get the bill as low as possible without sacrificing care.
