Now that I think about it this was a really stupid question! Hahahahahaha! Mostly eggs so what kind of birds, other then chickens and ducks, do you raise for eggs?

Emu's will give you eggs. So will geese. All birds lay eggs... But Im not sure they all taste good!

Quail eggs are good and look really cute hard boiled.

If you are a good hatcher, you might try reptiles. Captive bred snakes bring in big bucks. I was shocked when one person here posted how much they made hatching snakes.

You might also check into aquatics...shrimp, red claw "lobster", fish, etc.
