Don't know what I should be doing. Have one chicken who sounds congested and staying off to by herself without being very active. She doesn't have watery eyes and nasal discharge or anything overly noticeable other than the congestion and just not very perky. I checked her over tonight (and a bit unusual that she would even let me handle her that way) but I'm just not seeing anything outwardly wrong with her.
Any suggestions?

I know Tylan 50 is great for congestion in some cases. I give it injectable orally. But, before doing that, how is her stool looking? Is it only her lungs causing problems and nothing else?

It could be respiratory illness, but check a couple of things...look inside her beak for any obstruction, canker, lesions or mucous. Is her crop sour smelling, full of liquid? (check the crop to see that it's emptying overnight too).
When did she last lay an egg? Any feeling of fluid or bloat in the abdomen (between her legs below the vent).

If you have photos of her or a video of what she sounds like that may be helpful as well. Upload video to youtube and provide us a link.

Well haven't gotten a picture or video taken but she does seem to be somewhat better. I read where putting garlic powder in with their feed is good for their respiratory system and I actually got some echinacea tea which I was going to put in their waterer which is also good for their immune system (although I haven't gotten that done yet). I'm not sure what it was but glad she seems to be feeling better without having to give her medicine. I do add probiotic powder, brewers yeast, kelp, herbs and now garlic powder to their feed. Not sure I was adding enough before......
