One of my Rhode Island Reds was just standing at the door this morning, i stated petting her and she had no response, I set her out, she didn't move, I held her, her craw seems bloated. She layed down by a dish of lettuce and isn'tt eating. Closing her eyes. Help

Is she egg bound? usually you can feel it close to her vent. Gloved pinky and lube...very very carefully.. If she is egg-bound there are lots of good threads to help soothe (Epsom baths, circular motion on vent) and help her if the egg is broken.

Also iss the craw bloated like hard bloated or soft and bloated? I don't know what that would mean but that information might be important. My Brahma recently had a soft bloated crop from an internal infection that antibiotics helped.

I'm sorry she's not feeling well.
You mention feeding lettuce... What have you been feeding on a regular basis?

Should I give her an epsom salts bath

He breast feels fluid filled to me. I felt the rest of her body but didn'tt check her vent. I've never done that before

They get a lettuce or corn cob treat in the morning to share. I feed them the same chicken feed they've had since they started laying. They are all a year old in july. I don't know of anything new in their diet. Everyone else is fine
