it is usually printed on the bags somewhere. but i think it might be 3.5 if you are buying from Blue Seal. it should expand to about 7 cf.

Thinking about how much litter I would need for a coop that I haven't precisely figured the size of I decided to make a small spreadsheet that ended up going a little beyond what I needed. I figured some of ya'll might could use it for a rough idea of your litter needs per your coop size. Hope it helps somebody,...and hope I didn't make an error!
