Whitey has recently started laying eggs with little bumps on one end. I've never noticed this before and was wondering if this is a sign of something odd. It is like a group of little bumps / cluster on one end of the egg. Any ideas??? Thanks - Matthew

    Hi-
a lot of my hens lay eggs simular to what you describe. We eat them all and have never had any problems. I've just always assumed its part of having a backyard flock... you may not always get PERFECT eggs...[IMG] You'll be surprised at the strange things you'll get from your girls!!! [IMG]
But like I said, we eat them all. Once cracked open they all look the same... [IMG]
    Hope that helps.
