The Bermuda Triangle
After waiting many years for the right time, I'm finally able to have my very own flock!
I originally wanted 15 chickens, but like many others, I fell victim to chicken math..
I somehow ended up with 38 chicks from Cackle Hatchery :)
I've ordered a variety of breeds and colors, including 5 Black Austrlorps, 5 Easter Eggers, 17 Bantam Cochins (5 Partridge, 5 Splash, 5 Blue, and 2 Red), 5 White Silkies, and 3 Blue Polish. I got an extra EE, Red BC, and Austrlorp too.
All the Silkies, Polish, and BCs (aside from the 3 Red) are unsexed, and I plan to keep a few males for breeding in the future. They'll have their own bachelor coop once they can all be sexed.

As the chicks are still growing up in the brooder, I've been working on making them the perfect coop. I'm converting a 25x10 ft shed into a 16x10 coop, with a storage area, and 40ft run. Once they're older, they'll get daily supervised free ranging time.

I'd like to give a big thanks to @EmmaRainboe @JadeFarms @OneHappyDuckie @MGG @TheOddOneOut @Overo Mare @Kiki @ColtHandorf @TheDawg and @Sapphire Sebright for not only inspiring me to start my chicken keeping journey, but also for being so patient and helpful with answering all my questions and concerns.

Here are the chicks!

Yass! Finally😍

The lavender EE is mine. Can I name hers?
I want to name one too!
Oooh me too!
I'm open to whatever name suggestions y'all have!
I have a theme for each breed, except for the EEs and Austrlorps, so I need some inspiration.
I'm going to wait a while to see their coloring and personality before fully deciding on names, and I can't yet sex most, but a spread sheet will definitely help me keep track of everyone 😊

I demand Rebbie for one of blue dummies.
