little giant 9300

I have 2 little giants, and the directions say the humidty gage is only accurate between 70 and 80%..they just sent me some new ones,Mller said they had improved the humidty sensor.Ive just more or less guessed and kept them about 50% or so,since I have staggered hatchs.have a new gennis 1588 but haven't used it yet.

what... haven't used it yet?? 50% through to the end or do you up the humidity at lock down?

I was going to use the gennis today, but i thought about having to keep them in laundary room all winter. and sold eggs.Ive been hatching texas a #m,s since this past September.I have some chicken eggs in there now,but this is ist time ive ever locked it down.I don't trust the gauges they have so I may get them up to 60% or less.Ive done nothing right so far,but they just keep hatching out. They do say depth of water makes no difference in humidity, just surface area.I just learned that.I was looking for a sponge today but haven't.found one yet.

Is that a LG with the full window? I'm confused.... don't trust the LG gauges or the Genesis gauges? I just hatched 5 out of 10 duck eggs in my LG. I want something that I don't have to fret over humidity with.

I'd say you're doing something right... they keep hatching

Still air. I know everyone says 101-102 with still, but this is working so far. I've moved it up .5 degrees tonight.
What kind of chicken eggs do you have in there? I didn't do well with chicken eggs but I think it was mostly due to them having been shipped eggs.

Cream Legbars on day 6. My other incubator has Isbars and Andalusians due Christmas Day. Shipping eggs.. Very difficult mainly because the postal service shakes them up so badly. The air cells are detached 98% of the time on anything I receive. Out of 32 Isbar eggs I have 7 that have made it to this point. The last batch, not a single one. It's like throwing $$$ out your car window, but when it works it's so worth it.
