I got that little giant down for the first18 days...no water..leave in red plugs put thermometer on 99.7 and at night throw a towel over it.. only because I put my fan on at night...just like that I always get good hatches and my temperatures never jump around like others claim...I just haven't figured out how much water to put to get humidity right because I never hatched from ...didn't wanna get it dirty. Haha..plus I got the auto egg Turner in there...I love that thing...but putting them in a egg carton with a pvc pipe underneath abd just switch it from side to side every 8 hours works just the same

The Turner is nice, if you're getting readings between 45-70% I would just assume that it's in the middle of the two so that 60% reading is probably the most accurate, I had both windows dripping with condensation on them in the 60+ range. Which is bad!

My GQF is running 62% humidity right now and there is just a tiny bit of condensation in the very corner of one of the windows

Yeah I got two new hygrometers and I'm at 61% but still no condensation but I have both red plugs out

It must not be as humid as it is here. That's good you're at 61% without condensation! Post your hatch results please and good luck on your hatch!

Thank you... last night I had two external pips.. just woke up to find one of them opened its shell a little bit bigger but not much.the other one is still kinda the same....and the others are still just rocking around no pips.

That's great news! Are you finding the humidity reading on the incubator closer to the other humidity gauges or is it still lower?

The actual gauge on the incubator will jump up saying the same reading as others but then it well change back to 45% I think it's a malfunction with the incubator but then two baby's hatched out abd one was born with red back like thing having out it's stomach so I think it might die but it's the most active one of the two.
