First pips!!! I have two pips in the 9300, and they peep back to me if I whistle like a chick to them.

I have an egg rocking a bunch in the 9200, but I'm kinda concerned for them starting on day 19. In all, should I still expect a good hatch with them beginning early? I know this normally indicates high temperatures, but other than a few spikes my temperatures were perfect. Anyways, I'm excited because I wasn't expecting action this early!
(And no, I don't clean my eggs.. I see more risk than benefits from it)

Yay!!!! My last hatch over half of mine pipped late on day 19 and hatched on day 20 the rest finished up on day 21. By the looks of development in my eggs now, I am expecting about the same with this hatch.

Your last hatch was a good one, right?
I might just stay up and stare at them all night lol

Yeah, I had 13 out of 16 hatch. 12 of those were healthy strong chicks. I lost one little turken over a week later that had digestive problems. Of course, 7 of the remaining 12 were roos....lol and I had to send 5 of them away, so I have 7 left of that hatch.

My son and I were taking bets on this hatch. How many were going to hatch and how many would be boys. He was dead on last time with how many were going to hatch, but my little indigo child better be wrong this time...lol We have 36 in there still going strong (

) and he says 16 are going to hatch and 13 will be boys....lol

First one to hatch! I've been a little busy this morning to update, the little guy was giving me a hard time. He woke me up at 5:00 a.m peeping to the high heavens, I checked and saw that he was zipping and didn't think anything of it. When I woke up at 7:00 this morning, he was all out of whack... only half way zipped and stuck to the shell. So, I checked the membrane and he was fine to rescue, 20 minutes later you have a beautiful Silver Laced Wyandotte and one late very late individual. lol I realized that I forgot to fill 2 of the channels in the 9300 because I didn't even see them on lockdown, and that's what caused the low humidity. After helping him, I filled the channels with hot water and now I can see condensation on the windows. Anyways, the other pip has yet to begin zipping and the 9200 has a pip now. Since I'm already late, I'll spend a little time keeping an eye on these guys this morning.
