My humidity had fallen to 60% so I took a pen apart. I used it to add some water to a paper towel I have on a lid in the bator. Through the port hole in the top. Now the humidity is 87% ugh. Guess I should have left it alone. Can't take the water back.

If it gets higher than you want it, just crack the lid for a minute and let some humidity out. I wouldn't worry about it though, cause it'll come back down on it's own. Going high is not going to hurt it. Sometimes mine goes to 90% during hatch. It doesn't stay there long, cause I can't keep my hands out of the bator....but it does shoot up there...lol

I'm so "egg-cited"

I am wondering about the rest of these eggs. I thought I saw a couple pips besides that one at first. Although I am not sure now. And the chick has since kicked its siblings around in there. I can no longer see what I thought I saw before. :(
I know Amy says to wait 48 hours which will be Monday. I feel like this is going to be a long weekend.

And also just thought of what I said. I would be happy if one hatched.

I think all in all I ended up with about 70 chicks. The guy I'm splitting the hatch with is coming to get his chicks tomorrow, so I'll count them up as I'm going about that
