oh also i do have it lined with glass rocks to help it out eggs should be coming in the mail today and there expensive so i cant mess this up lots of pressure...

Nothing like putting a lot of pressure on yourself! I started my new incubator with eggs from my hens just to be sure it was working okay. I let those incubate for two weeks to be sure temperature and humidity were stable before putting expensive turkey eggs in.

And, what was your humidity? Congratulations. Lock down for me tomorrow.
Humidity was at 67%. The wells were all dry, so I opened the incubator really quick, added more water and took out the chicks and their egg shells to make room for the other eggs. My 9200 is really full, so I figured any extra space couldn't hurt. I moved all of the eggs from the 9300 into the 9200 for hatching. I've never hatched in the 9300 and I'd like to keep it that way, I bought it for the first 18 days, and I want it to stay clean. Humidity is at 70% right now and there are a ton of pips in there. Here are my first 2 fluffy butts, an OEGB and a Sizzle, I think.

Today is day 20

Real cuties!! Congrats!

I'm normally one of those that waits until the hatch is done, but if I didn't add water soon, the humidity was gonna plummet, it always does. I had to open it to do that anyway, so I just grabbed everything real quick. There are so many eggs in the incubator that they have just enough room to wiggle around! The humidity came right back up and I have a RIR zipping right now, so I don't think I bothered them too much!

well right now i made a grid 1 through 10 and I'm going to measure each box to find the best spots for the eggs I'm hoping when i load it down that it will Even it self out i just cant have another 0% hatch rate like last time what kind of hatch rates have you guys with the 9300 had

The grid is a super Idea!! and my hatch rate thus far has been 0/30
:(

But I think that it may have more to do with my humidity levels then temp? The aircells in each batch has been VERY small....

It's been a bit busy here on the farm. My grand pups were born yesterday.
I candled the eggs today for the last time because the 4200 is due for hatch on Saturday. Hope all goes well. I am going to do my best to post more than one pic of eggs here but you know I have a hard time with my phone doing that sometimes.
The lavenders went from 8 to 6 the Sussex went from 8 to 2 (moved them into the still air 9300 because of lock down in the 4200). The goose eggs went from 6 to 5 and Anconas went from 9 to 7. Praying the rest goes well.

the grid showed me that no egg is going to make it in box 6 7 and 10 i just cant believe that its so much cooler down there i wonder if i fill it up with eggs if it will be more even at this point i can say for sure that my 9200 is a much better unit well a more evenly heated unit i think the 9200 heater with the 9300 controls that would be a good one for sure...
one through 5 is where the heater is the heat is steady...
