That's why a lot of mid-center pippers that people think are malepositioned, aren't. Because you don't see what happens after lockdown and how the air sac draws down on one side.

Shipped eggs... they all went into the bator on 4.7.15

The chicks were all moving around.. I didn't pay a lot of attention about how big- or space that they were taking up.... Maybe I should take another peek...

According to my calculations... they shouldn't hatch until 4.28

Well..... they say that everyone always drops one egg....

This was mine :(

I went in for the closer look and I got good and close... a little too close as it slipped out of my hands and on to the rocking chair!

Egg #1... goner. ..... But... if you were wondering... it was developed like day 14- bald and small!

Bummer... we are now down to 3 Favaucana eggs.... I hope that I get one out of this bunch to hatch!

edit to say that this is a good reference for eggtopsy pics... what day chick was on...

That's too bad.

Since the Air cells are so far down... does that Mean that I should add some water to the bator since I am running dry.. do they need it more humidity?? Or leave it be??

Based on the photos, I'd raise the humidity to 50% or so for the duration of incubation.

Sorry about the one that broke...was there a large volume of liquid compared to embryo? Day 14 is normally near half and half.
