so far none in the pointy end...one has a hole now big enough that i can look in and see the chick, but it still won't climb out yet

Mine usually take anywhere from 12-16 hours from first pip to first hatch.
Spartanburg? Where did you go to high school?

I know you're probably joking, but many people try that on their first hatch and it can kill the chick. Be patient, it will make it

LOL! They will get to know your voice anyway, so sing away! Its been 10 hour since you posted that you had a pip. Hate to say, but it could be a few more hours. But I BET that you will have one out tonight! What is going on with the rest?
