I have aproxmetly
16 bobwhite eggs
15 Chukar eggs
27 ish chicken eggs ,(includeing silkie , serama, D' ullce?? spelling sorry and barnyard mixes)

This was on day 17 or so just befor lock down. The bob white eggs are now in there own box so the big monster chicks dont smoosh them.

Do you get the ones that are purebred from your own flock or shipped or from friends. I wish i could have purebreds like that. I can't seperate all of them. So my barn yard mixes will work for now. What day are you on?

If that question was for me , I dont have any of my own birds , I got a dozen from a local lady that was mixed and the rest of the eggs I got from backyard chicken people

Oh I also have another LG with 8 cuckoo marans , 3 Norwigian , 6 Sweedish flower hen , 8 serama and D what its and 49 button quail.

Well I hoep you have a great hatch!! I shined a flashlight into the little hole of the egg through my incubator window and it is moving!!!! Yay!!

I now have 2 that have pipped!! One that is getting pretty good and has some of the membrane moved and one that is just now pipped. I am so excited! I can see the eggs rocking back and forth and can hear peeping! I want to help them so bad but I am keeping busy so I don't just stare at them all day. lol

How long does it normally take from pip to zip? (that sounds funny! lol) And is there a time that they have been pipped too long and then need help? I now have 3 pipped! I knew it was coming but now that it's here I am way too excited!
