I promise you, in 100 chicks it will feel boring. But until then, you will be up all night checking on them. I remember all the sleepless nights the first summer hatching.

#2 is out now. Another one of ours. Hopefully the Blue Wheaton/Wheaton shipped eggs hatch too.

After talaking with you, I went upstairs to candle the eggs due this weekend-- one half zipped, a BO, and a few others, well, time will tell. Might be late quitters. THis first chick needs another so they can keep each other company. Too wobbly to go in witht he 2 weeek olds yet.

I will go to sleep for the night, and then check it in the morning. I'm long past 100 chicks. lol

I have to agree!!! I've been here 5 yrs. Some adjustments but have never been happier. Tho I miss my family

My brother still lives in Brewer, and college friend in Eastport and mother of course is still in Maine. On the last visit I was overwhelmed by lonliness as the night was totally silent-- so different here w/ car traffic all the time . . . .
