So the temperature is fine but how do you add water and regulate the humidity in it?

It’s day 17 and we are getting ready for lockdown

Do you have a calibrated thermometer or two inside the bator? (Ones you purchased separately and calibrated)
Same for a calibrated humidity gauge?

You can open it and add a dish of water or put a little water in the bottom of the bator.

There should be a plastic tray at the bottom with a series of water wells. adding water to the different wells will regulate the humidity. Use a calibrated humidity gauge like Kiki posted above to tell what the humidity is. I usually use 35% until lockdown and then increase humidity to 65 to 70%

Wow thank you for so much help! Do you happen to know when Walmart closes? I think we could get one. Thank you!
Not sure where you are located, the Walmarts in my area are 24 hour.

To calibrate one.
1. Get a large zip lock bag.
2. Get a small bowl and out 1/2 cup of salt in the bowl. Mix a little bit of water into the salt to make all of the salt just wet. Put the bowl inside of the bag.
3. Place the humidity gauge inside the bag too next to but not touching the salt bowl.
4. Zip it and walk away for a few hours.

After a few hours it should read 75%.
If it doesn't it is off by what ever the number is from 75.
