Little Giant problems----UPDATE----

When I bought my first LG the temperature was hard to get stable! one day is stood at 105 for day 8 and then on day 18 my bator went down and I had to use a heat lamp and I place it and went to school and as soon as I got back the temp was at 108.9

and guess what! they still hatched!!!! I really don't know for how many HOURS it stood like that! I went to school at 8am and came back at 4pm so it could of have a lot of hours with that temp.

i only ever turned it a tennie tiny
bit i know this sounds riddiculus but i'm starting to have faith in fertility symbols, i got pregnant right after hanging a hand carved winged yackshi in my bedroom and my chicks hatched two days early right after i put some lucky chickens from my kitchen ontop of the bator

i have worried myself silly over both of mine!! wayyy tooo much babysitting required for the LG's. I ordered a 1588 today. and I think I am going to try a brinsea act 20 next month as well. i plan on returning the two LG's as soon as these hatch.

Boy, I need to get a couple lucky chickens to put on my bator!! I really want these babies to hatch.

I have plenty of time to babysit my LG. I homeschool, and the bator is in the dining room where we do our lessons. I probably check it a 100 times a day. So far my temp has been really steady. I have humidity issues, but living at 8500 ft. who wouldn't!

I totally agree.......I ordered a 1588 and have not had to watch it at ALL........Such a big difference from the constant staring I was having to do with the LG's.

i love my LG's, i have six of them and have ten bators all together, and they can be hard to deal with if you don't want to baby set them. but i have learned not to fuss over them to much. i have 100 eggs due to hatch tonight sometime, they are BA's, NHReds, and red sexlinks. come on babys let me see you!!!! william
