I thought this little grey bantam was a pullet when I got her but now I'm not so sure. She has not laid any eggs yet but hasn't crowed either. The little black cochin bantam in the background laid her first egg last week! So cute!

I am going to say she is a pullet. We can usually tell whether our bantams are roos or not is because 1) they always act like it

2)they grow big red combs by two months old and 3) they start crowing at about two or three months old.
Where did you purchase her? How old is she? She almost looks like a Chocolate OEB.

She is an OEGB hen.I have 2 Identical hen's I hatched on Xmas Day last year and one is broody now on a clutch of 10 egg's.

I have a pic up on another post with her sitting her egg's.

Thanks everyone! I got her from a local chicken breeder/seller. She does look kind of "chocolatey" in the pic but she's really grey in real life. She's right at 4 1/2 months old. I'll check out your pics dieselgrl48.
