Make SURE and DOUBLY sure and TRIPLY sure that they are dry. It doesn't take much moisture for chicks to show respiratory symptoms. THey need to be in a draft free place, but they DO need air ciculation. Also, they can easily dump over a waterer, and when shavings are wet, this could cause a problem.
Are there any chemicals nearby? I had a batch that I brooded in the garage once, and I noticed they began to sneeze the 2nd day I moved them there. I finally figured out it was due to the chemical smells in the garage (gas, welding fumes, etc.).
Blue Seal is a good brand; is it medicated?
Watch them closely for signs of them getting lethargic or not eating. I'm not a proponent of using antibiotics just because they seem sick, but you'll get varying opinions on it.
GOOD LUCK!!!
