oh honey, many times. we once bought a "hen" ready to lay, and then a week later he crowed! and then we once had a bantam who we could have bet 1234567 dollars that she was a cockerel. but no, she laid a egg, right there in front of me. and yep! i am still teased. just be glad it isn't 100 roosters ( we bought 100 and we-- I'm sorry, they are going to be eating them)

And what's even worse is that he ate it while I was there

Yeah it sounded like a gun shot too! That's why you can't leave eggs in the incubator too long.

i have had a rotten egg before dogs that live behind us ate it LOL

Our dogs eat every rotten egg or egg that I throw out.

ya, we once had eggs from at least 3 years ago ( from the guy before us) that we found in a hidden nest, and guess what?!?!?!?!?/ my dog ate it

I was more than attatched. he was named, and I carried him around with me when I was doing yard chores, and he came when I called his name, and he sat on my lap while I did homework, and I used to carry him around in my shirt when he was little enough.
