Is that a 50-gallon tote? I have one set up for the 3 chicks I'm getting on the 16th, but was a little worried about the space they'd have available. If your's is the same or close to that, I think I have plenty of room for a while!

Very cool! I've always wanted to set up a web cam for our bluebirds. Have to see about doing one for the chicks!

50 gallons is PLENTY of room for the number of chicks you're getting, PP!

Now that is really awsome!! I want to do this in my coop. Do you think this would work in my coop which is about 300 feet from where the computer sits?

You can set the webcam up anywhere as long as you have a USB cable to run that far. You can buy USB extension cables but it might be expensive.

Highest I can find is 16 ft for $18 so yeah kind of expensive. Could also affect performance if you have to daisy chain that many together.
