I'm having a hard time finding a livestock guardian dog that is already trained and ready to protect my sweet little goats. We recently had a doe kid and I'm starting to get really worried that something is going to get her. If anyone has any information that would be helpful and I'm willing to travel to neighboring states for the right dog.

Maybe these will help.
I've bought a dog from Peavine Hollow, but don't have peronal experience with the others

Already trained dogs doesn't come cheap. They cost approx. $800 +-
Puppies are less expensive, but you need to train them yourself and they won't be fully efficient untill 1 year old.
Good luck in finding the perfect dog for you! I know you love your goats and want to protect them.

Here is couple more links.

And don't be discouraged, when you happen to find the right dog several States away. There are Pet Transportation Services" with very competitive pricing;anywhere from $110 - to 150
