Took me a while, but I got through all the pages! Will be following now as well!

This is a bit late to the conversation, of course, but I definitely hear you on finding candling irresistible! I have a flashlight I use as a candler and I'm constantly just taking a quick peek at eggs without even pulling them out of the incubator. Too hard to resist watching my future babies grow!

Welcome! Oh, that's a great idea! Guess who's going to be candling in place tonight!

I have a flashlight that would probably be just the right size for that, it's reasonably bright, but not shockingly bright, it should at least work on the light shelled eggs

x2, I even built a little pop door into my incubator at one point specifically so I could easily candle without losing almost any heat or humidity.

If I remember right, I called it "the spacecraft" now and then. Its real name was "the binbator".
