Me too! I have a very old small 7ft by 20ft camper I'm fixing up because of my mom's current situation I'm probably gonna be moving to an RV park for a bit with my ducks until I get crap sorted out again. If I can find one to let me have them, I'd be keeping them inside with me at night and in pen outside during the day - so they get fresh air. That's like plan c - plan a is finding property that I can afford and building on it, plan b is renting a house somewhere under 1000 a month :/

combine two plans.... for Plan D... get the property and the trailer... move the trailer on and make the underside of your trailer a duck coop. Hopefully you will have power water and septic on your land...

I'm going to do solar as well as a windmill, I just want to start with the windmill. I want to build a greenhouse out of old windows, since it will have to be really heavy since the winds are bad in Goldendale.

@perchie.girl, that's cool about your mare. There are lots of horses here, the equestrian team is a PE elective.

I am having a large "mini barn" built before I move, large enough for a coop, brooder, all the chicken stuff and storage. I was thinking 16 x 20 with a loft. I will build a chicken tractor for the meat birds. I was also thinking of getting a livestock guardian dog for the chickens. I have 2 mastiffs now, but they are family dogs and want to be where I am. They do keep predators away at night, they have a dog door.
