Truly, there will be much reading and asking and preparing before starting that whole adventure for me.

So - prepare y'all for some really "bright" newbie questions!

Thanks for all of your help so far!! It's so great to have informed folks (read:enablers) to turn to!

Heh-heh! My landlord told me that he'll be bringing me a cage he wants to get rid of. About the width of his truck and waist high (on him) with two doors that open in the front and a divider in the middle! He built it for his daughter, but she hasn't used it for years. . He's a contractor, so I'm guessing this will be pretty solid.

So... my hatching days may begin sooner than I thought!

(please read: my panic and ceaseless questions will begin)

I told DH - If the landlord brings a cage...kinda think there will be no trouble having the critters!

Shoot! I'm one lucky girl!!!!!

I'm sure y'all will!...and I'll follow my instructions gladly! ...while asking more questions of course....

Now this is Albuquerque: aka - the land of manyana When he says he'll 'drop it by soon', well, this could be anytime between tomorrow and Spring! Really - it's like that here. But, if he said that he would then he will. Heck - by then I may have a decent camera, so pics could really happen!

BTW: I looked at pics and the difference between Fawn and Cinnamon escapes me. Whaddi miss?

Great deal on the new cage!! That's awesome!

I'm not real sure the difference between Fawn and Cinnamon. Your not alone, there's alot of us that just don't "get" the colors yet.

I'm sure Quaillady or someone else that knows will be along soon!

Fawn is what the UK calls Italian...it's a gene color not a mutation color. Cinnamon is a color in the UK, An orange tint bird. We have roux dilute here in the US.
