Loaded the bator!!! Wheeeeee!

Good luck!!

Do you know which chickens laid those super dark eggs on the top row? That's the craziest color of egg I've ever seen!

those were advertised as blue black splash copper marans? Probably alligators (eBay) but I can see I think two of the 6 are Good

I couldn’t help myself and bought some eggs to try out, then realized some of my own are fertile... so everything went in for its inaugural run. Lol fingers crossed. But I was actually not expecting this many to be good
When I bought my incubator in may it started with about 12 eggs and very quickly ended up at about 40(all from my birds) I had to have a new brooder built and everything! I think I had about 32 hatch.

Day 8? I agree the air cells look a little big. Might need to raise the humidy a hair?
That’s what I was thinking, added some water. I have the pellet stove going all the time And a humidifier, and several aquariums, but they just see, so big.. so, water added! Hopefully not too much.

lol! My husband was so sure he would have to build me a second coop. I think he’s safe TIL I order chicks

Ok, I Know I should have done this weeks ago. Only just now doing the salt test on the hygrometer in the bag. I put 1tsp salt, and wet it (didn’t soak it) does this look right? Does it matter how big the bag is (before I waste 6h of my life on this?) lol
