I would worry about it yet. Sometimes chicks don't hatch till a couple days or more after the due date especially if temps are a little low. My temps stayed pretty high, but one of our giants hatched yesterday at 22 days. But I think they're a breed that are a little slower sometimes. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you

Just took incubator to the shower/bathroom, removed all the fluffy chicks. and had to do an emergency un shrink of a baby from yesterday, poor thing.
25 babies now fluffy and in the brooder, some pretty cute ones. all sorts of colors.

16 eggs left to hatch. + the one I just peeled from his prison, not sure if he'll pull through, but, he has a fighting chance now.

and to my dismay, I noticed one beak sticking out of an egg, it's crooked. ugh. not bad, so, I think it might be okay, but, I don't think that one will be a hot seller.

my last batch, which hatched April 1st, I had one with curled feet, now it just has crooked toes, it is the only left from that hatch, I gave away my last 8, but, couldn't give him/her away, as I didn't want it to end up as soup. Scooter, will stay, well, if a girl. I can't have more roos.

Does anyone leave a light on if they are hatching at nite? Just curious. I have a dishtowel covering the lid and windows of my lg most of the time, especially at nite in case it gets to cool in the room. It never goes below 67 in that room but the weather is doing strange things here in sw ohio. Maybe lite frost tonite!!!

In the last month we have had 15-16 inches of rain!! So we are swimming here! Maybe should have hatched out ducklings!!!

I have no signs of a hatch tonite, but maybe the next couple of nites. Just didn't know if anyone left a lite on to welcome the little newcombers!! And emjay,

for you and the rest of your hatch!

We keep a sink light on in our great room at night which is where the incubators are at & a flashlight beside them to use, but it's more for us than them. Between me, my mother, & DF there's pretty much always someone around watching them hatch. And the dogs have learned from us & watch, too; it's like their tv

I bet you'll start getting some pips tomorrow

My second batch of eggs will be going into lockdown Saturday. None were shipped, so I'm hoping to get more than one Easter Egger to hatch this time around.
