Local Authority By-laws

In my local authority (Redland City Council Qld Australia) our by-laws for keeping chooks is that any property between 500 to 2000 sqm (0.125 to 0 .5 acre)can have up to six hens -no roosters. Kept in a solidly constructed run and coop which must be cleaned weekly. Over 2000 you can have a rooster.
