Lockdown? guinea eggs

UPDATE: the pipped egg wasnt making any progress.. i helped that one as well. looks fine... opened the remaining 9 eggs... 7 dead fully formed, fully absorbed eggs dead in shell. while i sat here beside this incubator for 2 days they were dying. (2 were quitters awhile back) never again will i try guinea eggs. i am ordering live chicks. its just not worth it. also have a colicky horse today who if he doesnt get better by morning, the vet said i will have to "make a decision"... sad sad day.. advice to anyone hatching guineas... read everything you can. make sure your hygrometer is acurate... did i kill them when i opened the incubator the other night when i had one pipped through? i believe I did.. i will try to think of it as I saved 2 instead of I killed 7..thanks to everyone who tried to help.

This certainly is a traumatic process. My first time ever incubating. And I chose guineas - ugh. Yes, so many questions, so unsure of how to proceed. Trying to develop the mindset that I will be okay if not a single one hatches. I'm glad for your two that survived. Next time, it's chickens!
