I know that once the first few eggs hatch, the humidity may go up some.

Can you partially close the vent to see if that will help it rise?

Some people will fill little Tupperware bowls with marbles and water. Sizes based on humidity needed. Marbles so the chicks don't drown...they flop all over when they are first born....idk

Also have you moved the thermometer to egg level, verses on the lid to see if you get a different reading?

Thermometer/hygrometer is sitting next to the eggs. It reads the same as the brinsea thermometer. No room in the incubator for anything else. I had to slightly tilt all the eggs up a bit just to fit the sponge in.

Grab a good book, a cozy blanket, and some popcorn.  And your camera of course!
