Lockdown starts today! Who's gonna hatch with me? UPDATE PICS!

When I woke up this morning I ran in to check the bator and I now have 13 pips! That is out of 17 that made it to lockdown. No one has made it out yet but some have defintely made progress.

juliette2009 - I am right there with you. Tomorrow is day 21 for me so I hope they are all ok! Good luck to everyone else!

oh so a.m. and p.m. matter? LOL Well then I will give them til this afternoon evening, because thats when I put them in about 4 or 5 pm on dec 4th, or maybe since it was late today is "actually" my 19th day instead of 20th. LOL

Yes, those a.m. - p.m.'s are 12 hours apart and that gives us 12 hours of less stress. I know mine were fully developed and ready. I just need to have patience.

I set my eggs on Dec. 4., evening also, so this is a little early for me...However, Seramas tend to hatch a little early, on average, so I'm not TOO worried (

), just very anxious (is there a difference?) 'cause these are from "first-time" layers (pullets), and I have no idea as to their quality...It's going to be a very-rough-day...I just put fresh batteries in my flashlight, just so I don't wear it out, shining it into the hatcher every 10 minutes!

Well from what I have read if you set the eggs in the pm you are supposed to count the next day as the 1st day. So that would be 12/5 for you. If they hatch a little early then tomorrow would probably be the first pip(?)

Rusty : Congrats on the hatch !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, Now quit lollygagging and get some Cornish in the bator LOL. Good luck on the chicks.

I got it back up right away but it's not peeping or sticking his beak out like the rest were. So now I get to worry that it's stuck. ugh!
