I'll keep you all updated, will candle for last time tonight (17 full days), lockdown during the day tomorrow, and pack the whole lot incubator and all into the car on Monday for an hour's drive.

Thanks, they all looked fine yesterday, and have the bator rigged up and ready for road today. Wish me luck!! These chicks are all sold before they are even hatched... gulp!

Gulp, I am currently arranging for buff orpington eggs to arrive a week after my hatch! This is going to break me! Hopefullt I'll have enough hatch to cover the cost of the next eggs!

UPDATE - from 20 eggs at day 18, sixtenn hatched, and one chick died, the first one out was racing from pip to zip in four hours and from starting to zip to out only five minutes. He had still unabsorbed yolk and left a fair bit of blood in the egg. He died after about four hours in the bator, all the rest are perfect!! Will post pics if I can figure out how..
