Lockdown Tomorrow! I Have a chick!

I had to remove half of the egg shell but she did the rest on her own. She looks like a little dinosaur and has the biggest feet. Is it normal for them to be a bit disoriented?

My new chick. What should I name her? Last time i didnt name my chick so my dad decided to name him thunder foot. what a wonderful name.

Well I just did a quick candle and locked them down. I had 14 eggs in the bator. 4 were infertal.

The rest all piped the air sack and are rocking around.

6 americauna eggs, 2 frizzle eggs, and 2 necked neck eggs. And the other chick I hand hatched is doing great. I moved her to the brooder with Thunder and she is starting to dry.

Tonight I plan on getting a good nights sleep and not staying up till 5 again.

yes it is completely normal for them to be a little wobbly and disoriented. Congrats on the chickie.

Here is a picture of Peanut (what my little brother named the chick) and Thunder.

Peanut's feet are starting to get untwisted so she can walk better.

One of my frizzle eggs pipped!

It is a normal looking pip, too.

I really hope this will be a clean hatch so I dont have to help again.

ETA: Frizzle is zipping! Also, 2 ameracauna eggs piped!

aaawww love the new pic... The chicks are precious. My eggs are supose to hatch in two days and there not even rolling around yet. guess I am probably a little to anxious though its more then likely still a little early for it. lol Good luck with the rest of your hatch!!!

Yaaaay for pips! I just saw I have pips in the Naked Neck bantam eggs set here the 4th --- marked 'NB' on yours.
I don't think I set any from the Frizz girls (but I have to go look again, I don't remember what I set exactly).
