I woke up this morning and checked my lockdown incubator which has eggs that were just moved from the turner, which is now housing its third clutch of eggs and has held perfect temps. Well, this morning it was at 102F/65%. I opened the lid (I know, I know), replenished the water reservoirs, and checked the eggs with IR until they cooled to 100F. It looks like I lost 2/3 of my set, the blood vessels look dark and there is no movement. :-(
On top of that, the poult that has been struggling since Monday died. Her brother is in fine shape, and growing like crazy.
Today was a sad day.
