I'm incubating eggs and I've heard from everyone that day 18 is lockdown day. My question is do I lockdown in the morning of 18 or the night of after I've turned them for day 18?

xs 2Anytime on day 18 is fine. After day 14 they don't really need to be turned as all their parts/limbs etc should be fully formed and developed by then. Turning is done so all these things develop correctly and the nutrients are moved around the egg and the embryo. Turning is often stopped on day 18 as this is tied in with putting your humidity up for hatch and it's easier to do the both at the same time.
Good luck and I hope you have a great hatch![]()
