lockdown

I have 7 now and I can see a couple pips.

This is so fascinating.

I am having trouble tearing myself away--every little wiggle and pip and peep seems important.

This is a problem, because I have other things I should be doing.

One of them is, I write a regular column for a dog magazine, IG Times. I write a review column on dog books. My column is DUE. My editor is going to be UPSET. And I don't see myself saying, "Gosh, I just had to sit and watch eggs."

BTW I am reviewing an incredible book for this column (along with some others). If you like dog books, here is something to read while you watch your incubators: "From Baghdad with Love".

Well, I have nine out, but there should be a LOT more. I am still hoping. I had to help one. I'm not sure why, as the humidity is good. But I did.

I am hoping the power outage didn't do in all the rest of them. This is Day 22.

Catherine~ Sorry about the little one you lost. This morning I awoke to 2 more little Wellie BOYS and an Olive Egger with out eyes and a very crooked beak. This little baby is from a EE that I have been trying to hatch an egg from for months and the first one to hatch of course would have issues.

Congrats on the fuzzies.

I have 21 in the brooder and still a few in the bator.
