It's all about being patient. On day 16, I usually find something to distract myself with, like getting the brooder ready.

I'm a bit confused about lockdown. This is my first hatch and I've read day 14, and day 15. I have jumbo coturnex that went in Saturday before last at one pm. Does lockdown start this Saturday at one pm? Or Sunday at one?

I've had hatches on day 16 so I lock down on day 14 now. If I am figuring right your lock down should be Sat. at 1;00 pm.
They say not to count the first day. then count 14 days later.
