Locked joint in leg

I have a baby duckling that hatched with his leg locked into one position. He can not stretch it out to walk properly. I've made attempts to stretch but the Lil guy screams in pain when I get to a certain point. Is it time for me to go to a vet? I know this is due to a deficiency but I not sure which one.

If it hatched that way then it could be a bone deformity. I would say yes to a vet, an xray could answer what is going on and determine whether it's fixable or not. Sorry about your little one.
