Locks on coop = more eggs

I know! Now I'm going to start writing down my totals and see what's up. I'll have to keep an eye on this. The dog was acting weird and spooked last night when I took her out for her walk in that same area.

Yep has happened to me too. There is a single mom and three boys down the street and they struggle to make it. I have given them eggs numerous times. The neighbor accross the street saw the younger one leaving my yard with a BULGE in his sweatshirt. That explained my up and down egg production.
I did question them and of course they denied it.
What kills me is all they had to do was ask and I would have given them away. My attitude is for the grace of God there go I. So I try to do what I can to help.
The younger one has asked other neighbors for sandwiches because he said he was hungry. My one neighbor has call DFS, don't know what came of that and it really isn't my business.

A single mom with 3 boys is probably getting close to $600 in food stamps, but as the lady down the road from me with 6 kids gets over $900. Then she turns around and sells some - imagine that and everyone is supposed to feel sorry for her. I think not, I do feel sorry for the kids though. They have been taken 3xs or more and always given back.
