Logout?

Hello!

I'm wondering: when you logout, does that mean that you are signed "currently offline?" Because I logged out and got on to BYC just as a guest, looked myself up and it said I was online. Is there something else I need to do to make it say that I'm offline??

Logging out should remove you from being "logged in", but there could be cases where the system keeps you shown "online" for 15 minutes.

If you are logged in and are gone over night, does it turn to logged off in a certain amount of time or does it show logged on all night?

You won't be logged out if you have the setting to keep you logged in, but the system doesn't show you "online" if you are inactive on the forum for more than 15 minutes.
