I had 4 eggs hatch...only 1 survived. I've been looking for a "friend" for the lone chick because I know they're not supposed to be alone, but it's taken me about a week to find others around that age. Because this chick is used to being alone will he be antisocial with the new chicks? I'm worried they're going to peck him (or her). How do I go about introducing them to each other at this age?

Young chicks are nowhere near as aggressive as older chickens and integrating chicks are much easier than integrating older chickens too. I think your lone chick will be very happy to have some chick company.

That's what I'm hoping. We're getting his companions tonight. :-)
Thanks!

Should be a happy chick with some new friends. Usually up to a month difference in age doesn't matter.
