Lonely female quail

What do I do with my lonely female quail? The male ran away and never looked back. What do I do with her?

What kind of quail is it? Female coturnix can get along okay on their own once they get used to it, but buttons for sure and I would say bobwhites etc too probably would do much better in a pair or group. You can try to give her to someone who has other quail or get some more quail or put her in the freezer or just leave her and give her lots of stuff to do.

Where u located? If she is a Coturnix I have an extra male I am re homing since my other male hates him. U can have him for free if u r close and can pick him up. It would probably b cheaper to find and buy one local tho then for u to pay shipping to get him to u.

Also wanted to add that some male quail do come back I have read about it several times on these threads.

Im in north east KY. Im guesing its gonna b at least $30 to ship a $5 bird. Im not sure how much the shipping boxes r either as I have only recieved live adult birds and chicks in the mail. If u were closer Id just give him to u.
